The following message is on behalf of the PTO Presidents of the Morgan County School District. The Morgan County Board of Education is currently conducting a search for a new superintendent. The regulation requires that the Board have a screening committee. Per KRS 160.352(3)(d), one (1) of the members of that committee must be a parent. If you are interested in serving on this committee or if you would like to nominate another parent, please complete a nomination form and submit it to the school secretary by no later than the end of the school day, Friday, February 17, 2017. The form was sent home today and for parents of high school students, the form is available at the high school front desk. The PTO presidents of the school district will elect the parent representative to the screening committee. For further information, please call the school secretary.
