Miranda Bowman named Ezel Principal

Amanda Bowman
I am so honored and grateful for the opportunity to serve the wonderful community of Ezel where my family resides. I am married to Kelley Bowman, an Ezel native, and we have two amazing Kids, Ty and Kenna.
I graduated from Elliott County High School in 2004. Then I pursued my bachelors at Morehead State University in elementary education. I began my teaching career at Botts Elementary where I served as a third grade teacher for seven years. While teaching there,  I received my Masters as a Reading/Writing Specialist, and my National Board Certification. Then I have served as a 5th grade teacher at Ezel for the last 4 years. While working at Ezel I began praying about becoming a principal. I received my principalship in the fall of 2018 from UC.  I am so excited for this opportunity and I couldn’t have a better group of students, staff, or community than Ezel to begin this journey with.
